More learning takes place during your child’s first three years than at any other time in life, much of it in the first twelve months. Like a little sponge, your baby absorbs everything: touch, smells, colors, shapes, sounds. This is why nurturing, caring, and devoted teachers that are knowledgeable in early childhood development are so important. Kinderberry Academy provides infants with a stimulating and nurturing environment to keep pace with their developmental needs.
You are your child’s first and most important teacher. That’s why we spend time getting to know you and your infant – so we can better understand both of your individual needs and personalities. Our goal is to effectively communicate with you, so your child’s transition into our center will be as smooth as possible. If you have your baby on a schedule, our teachers will work with you to keep your baby’s daily routine very similar to what you have been following.
Our Infant Suite is beautiful, safe, clean and stimulating.
Cleanliness: Toys and play areas are disinfected daily to promote clean surroundings.
+ Safety: Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with a touch-screen sign-in. This ensures each and every child’s safety because every parent must enter their individualized security code before entering the school to sign-in their child.
+ Love: We’ll see to it that your baby receives all the care and love you expect. Plenty of one-on-one time including holding, cuddling and playing on the floor….creating the bonds that help your infant feel safe and secure.
= A Happy and Healthy Baby! Equally as important as health and safety, a happy baby means that we have done our job.
In addition to providing care, we provide ample opportunities to learn and grow, including fun activities designed to nurture and encourage gross and fine motor skill development. On a typical day at our school, your baby’s caregiver will sing songs, read stories, and introduce sign language.
Babies are eager to learn and explore and we provide special play areas with plenty of toys designed for multi-sensory stimulation. Whenever possible, we group children into younger infants and older infants to better meet developmental goals.
At the end of each day you’ll receive a handwritten daily report detailing your baby’s day with us including feeding and diapering changes.
We welcome your baby to our Kinderberry Academy Infant Program and are delighted to share with you the excitement and joys of your baby’s day-to-day development. We consider it a privilege to be a part of that growth and development and look forward to a wonderful relationship with you and your baby.
